Actually everything was fine. The staff were affable and efficient in case of questions. Everywhere there was clean. We had a full Scottish breakfast, which was sensational. The location was fab and easy, around 10-15 minutes walk from Inverpolly Nature Reserve.

The room had fine sea views that added charm to our stay. The beds were comfortable.
The location above the bar meant some noise at night.

The room wassuper clean and cozy. The location near the waterfront is fantastic, providing easy access to nearby attractions. Breakfast was disappointing and overpriced, particularly considering the cost of the stay. Staff appeared overwhelmed, though friendly, highlighting a need for better service during busy times.

The waterfront location offers fine views over the loch that you won't forget. The room size is decent, providing ample drawer space for your stuff and a cozy spot to kick back after a day's adventures.
The window frames are rotting, letting in a draft that makes for an uncomfortable night. The bathroom feels like a relic from a stashed caravan with a toilet that's stuck in the 70s-don't expect a quick flush. You might as well time travel while you wait. There's also quite a bit of noise from the bar below, which can ruin the peaceful vibe you're looking for. Lastly, the decor feels tired with threadbare carpets and the general air of stale beer lingering in the halls, which might not sit well with everyone.

We enjoyed the fun quiz night every Tuesday and explored the fine local scenery. The food was excellent, and the staff were lovely. Just a heads up, the shower in our bathroom was a bit tricky to adjust, but it didn't ruin the experience!

The fine loch views contrasted with the filthy room conditions.

missingWrote a review on 22 Julwarm atmospherefriendly servicegood seafoodoverpriced drinkssmell of stale beer
The atmosphere was warm and cheery, perfect for a cozy drink after a long day exploring. The bar lady was friendly. Plus, I stumbled upon some good local seafood at nearby spots-definitely a culinary treasure!
I can't ignore the slightly overpriced drinks and the missing breakfast-especially for a room costing near 180 quid. The insistent smell of stale beer and the general upkeep left something to be desired.
